37 ) Beamsley Beacon - W Yorks. Several views of Beamsley Beacon. Slope faces N and N/W . In one of the views you can see the car park. Quite a steep climb, but worth the effort. Nice little clump of rocks on NW slope affords some shelter when the wind is really strong. Geoff went through Ridge Runts wing on this slope, but once again I learnt quite a bit up here. Landing can be a challenge, it's tight but safe, bouncy heather. |
