Direction for this slope is S/SW - There is a parking bay below you on the road. This site is on the coastal
route out of Ayr. The stretch of road that this slope runs along has an optical illusion effect whereby the
road looks to slope in the opposite direction than it actually is. For this reason it is not uncommon to have
about ten cars on both sides of the road, all with their handbrakes off, and their warning lights flashing,
trying to experience this weird effect of the car rolling up the slope.
This is a great little site. A jump over a fence and quite a steep climb are called for, but I seem to remember
a small hollow at the top in which you can shelter. Landing behind is a large flat area of grassland.
